Supervision for therapists growing their confidence and clinical voice
I offer reflective, relational, trauma-informed supervision for pre-licensed therapists who want support not only with cases, but with becoming the kind of therapist they want to be.
Who is supervision for
This supervision is for pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapists who want a thoughtful space to grow in both competence and confidence. It may be especially helpful if you are looking for support that is relational, trauma-informed, and attentive to the person of the therapist as well as the work itself.
Pre-licensed MFTs working toward licensure
Therapists wanting relational and trauma-informed support
Therapists looking to deepen clinical confidence and presence
Therapists wanting room for reflection, feedback, and growth
How I approach supervision
I see supervision as more than case review. It is a place to think carefully, notice patterns, strengthen your clinical voice, and grow your capacity to be present in the room. My approach is relational, reflective, and trauma-informed, with attention to both professional development and the supervisory relationship itself.
What supervision can include
Case consultation and case conceptualization
Questions about interventions and clinical direction
Attention to the therapeutic relationship and process
Support around confidence, stuck points, and decision-making
Reflection on identity, self-of-the-therapist, and professional growth
Trauma-informed thinking and relational practice
Supervision may include both practical clinical support and deeper reflection on how you are developing as a therapist.
Why work with me
In addition to my clinical work, I teach and support developing therapists in training. That experience shapes the way I hold supervision: with care, clarity, and a belief that growth happens best in a relationship where you can think openly, be challenged thoughtfully, and continue becoming more fully yourself as a clinician.
I want supervision to be a space where rigor and humanity can both be present.
A practical note
For therapists pursuing LMFT licensure in Minnesota, supervision is part of the licensure process and must meet board requirements. If you reach out, we can talk about fit, logistics, and whether this supervision arrangement makes sense for your needs and stage of training.
